Travelling to the Teifi Valley Railway


By Car


The Teifi Valley Railway is based at Henllan Station in Henllan, Ceredigion. Enter SA44 5TD in your satnav.


Travelling from Carmarthen:

Join the A484, heading north out of east Carmarthen. Follow the road for approximately 15 miles until you see signs for Henllan, or brown tourist signs for 'Tourist Railway.' Turn right onto the B4334, crossing Henllan Bridge over the river Teifi. Follow the road for half a mile, turning right into the station yard (through the gates with red posts).


Travelling from Cardigan:

Join the A484, heading east out of Cardigan. Follow the road for approximately 14 miles until you see signs for Henllan, or brown tourist signs for 'Tourist Railway.' Turn right onto the B4334, crossing Henllan Bridge over the river Teifi. Follow the road for half a mile, turning right into the station yard (through the gates with red posts).


Travelling from north of the Railway:

Join the B4334 heading south. About half a mile after passing through Aber-banc, you will cross a railway bridge. The station yard is immediately to the left after crossing the bridge. Take care - the entrance to the station yard is a sharp turn.


By Bus


If you don't have access to a car, you can visit the Teifi Valley Railway by bus. Cyswll TrawsCymru Connect service 460 runs approx hourly (weekdays) from Carmarthen and Cardigan via Henllan.
